Accepting These Terms
| Your agreement | By using torchtiger.com, or by installing or using TorchTiger Engineer, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use them. |
|---|---|
| Who we are | TorchTiger is a brand of QuoDroid Software Development Private Limited, Kolkata, India (“we” and “us”). TorchTiger Engineer is our product. |
| For an organisation | If you accept these terms for an organisation, you confirm that you can bind it, and “you” includes it. |
| Age | TorchTiger is a tool for professional ServiceNow developers. You must be 18 or over to use it. |
What These Terms Cover
| The website | torchtiger.com, including the contact form and our demo videos. |
|---|---|
| Community edition | The free edition of TorchTiger Engineer. It runs in your browser on your own Anthropic key and sends TorchTiger nothing. |
| Team edition | The paid edition, for businesses. It adds TorchTiger’s Hub and Engineer web app at app.torchtiger.com, and TorchTiger’s servers at api.torchtiger.com, which the extension uses after you sign in. |
| Enterprise and design partners | Set up only by separate written agreement. Where that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement applies. |
Your Licence to Use TorchTiger Engineer
| What you may do | We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use TorchTiger Engineer for your own work or your organisation’s. It lasts while you follow these terms. Team features also need a paid seat. |
|---|---|
| Not open source | All rights are reserved. Our code ships unminified, so you can read it. You may not copy, modify, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute it, build a product from it, or remove its copyright or licence notices, except where the law allows this anyway. |
| Third-party parts | The open-source components inside the extension come under their own licences, listed in its THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES file. |
Your ServiceNow Instances
| Your authority | Use TorchTiger Engineer only on ServiceNow instances you are allowed to use. It works through your own signed-in session, with your permissions, so it can see and do only what you can. |
|---|---|
| Production | It is built for development and test instances. It switches off on production, and on any instance it cannot confirm is non-production: no chat, no reads, no writes. This is a safeguard, not a replacement for your own controls. |
| Your approval | Write mode is off by default. Nothing is created, changed or deleted until you approve a plan, and you are responsible for the changes you approve. Review and test them as you would your own work before you move them on. |
| Reverting | A revert replays the state saved before a change, after you approve it. It cannot undo everything, such as later edits or work done outside TorchTiger Engineer, so keep your usual backups and update sets. |
Your AI Provider
| Community edition | TorchTiger Engineer is powered by Claude. It calls Anthropic’s API with your own Console API key, under your agreement with Anthropic, and you pay Anthropic for that usage. Anthropic does not allow third-party tools to use Claude Pro or Max subscriptions, so the extension accepts Console API keys only. |
|---|---|
| Team edition | It calls the provider in your team’s AI profile (the Anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock or your own gateway), under your organisation’s agreement with that provider. |
| Usage policies | You must follow Anthropic’s Usage Policy and, on Team, the acceptable-use terms of your team’s provider. |
| Check the output | AI can be wrong. Check Claude’s answers and plans before you rely on them or approve them. |
Your Content and AI Output
| Yours | Your prompts, your ServiceNow data and what Claude produces for you belong to you or your organisation. We claim no rights in them, and you are responsible for how you use them. |
|---|---|
| No training | We do not use your content or Claude’s output to train AI models. The Community edition sends TorchTiger nothing. On Team, we use workspace data only to run the service, as our Privacy Policy describes. |
The Team Edition
Team is launching soon. These terms apply from your organisation’s first subscription.
| For businesses | Team is for business use. By subscribing, you confirm you are buying for your business, trade or profession, not as a consumer. |
|---|---|
| Your workspace | A workspace owner signs your organisation up and adds members. You are responsible for your workspace, for who you add, and for keeping sign-in codes private. |
| Price | $20 per developer per month, flat per seat, as on our Pricing page. |
| Who sells it | Dodo Payments is our authorised reseller and merchant of record for Team. You buy Team from Dodo Payments under its Buyer Terms, and you use it under these terms. Dodo Payments handles your payment, taxes and invoices. |
| Price changes | We tell workspace owners at least 30 days before a new price applies to your next renewal. |
| Your data | Your organisation owns its workspace data. We process it for you as our Privacy Policy describes, and a data processing agreement is available on request. |
Refund and Cancellation Policy
| Community edition | Free, so there is nothing to cancel or refund. Remove the extension whenever you like. |
|---|---|
| Renewal | Team subscriptions renew each month until cancelled. |
| Cancelling | Cancel in Dodo Payments’ customer portal, or email support@torchtiger.com, at least 48 hours before the end of your billing period. Your seats stay active until that period ends. |
| Refunds | We do not refund part-used periods. Dodo Payments handles any refund under its Buyer Terms. |
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or anyone else’s rights, with TorchTiger;
- use it on systems or data you are not allowed to access;
- try to get around its safeguards, such as the production lock or plan approval;
- attack, overload or try to break into our website or servers;
- share one Team seat between people, or resell or rent access to TorchTiger;
- use our website or contact form to send spam or harmful code.
Our Rights and Your Feedback
| What we own | The TorchTiger name and tiger logo, this website and TorchTiger Engineer belong to QuoDroid Software Development Private Limited or its licensors. You may not use them without our written permission, except to refer to TorchTiger accurately. |
|---|---|
| Your feedback | If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, with no obligation to you. |
Other Services
TorchTiger works with services we do not control: ServiceNow, Anthropic and your other AI providers, Dodo Payments for billing, Calendly for bookings and Microsoft Teams for calls. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for them. ServiceNow is a trademark of ServiceNow, Inc., and Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC. TorchTiger is independent of both.
No Warranties
TorchTiger Engineer and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that they will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that Claude’s answers will be correct. If you are a consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights.
Limitation of Liability
| Indirect loss | We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost data, profits or revenue, arising from TorchTiger. |
|---|---|
| The cap | Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount paid for your Team subscription in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100. |
| What is never limited | Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. |
Indemnification
If you use TorchTiger for a business, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless QuoDroid Software Development Private Limited and its officers, directors, employees and agents against claims, losses and costs arising from your misuse of TorchTiger or your breach of these terms.
Suspension and Ending
You can stop using TorchTiger at any time by removing the extension, and cancel Team as our Refund and Cancellation Policy describes. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or do not pay for Team, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it. When your access ends, your licence ends too. The parts of these terms that by their nature should continue, such as liability, indemnification and governing law, still apply.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kolkata have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. We post the new version here and update the date in At a Glance. For Team, we email workspace owners about material changes at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using TorchTiger after a change applies, the new terms apply to you.
General
| Beta features | Features we label beta or preview may change or be withdrawn at any time, and come without any commitment. |
|---|---|
| Export and sanctions | You must follow the export control and sanctions laws that apply to you, and you may not use TorchTiger where those laws forbid it. |
| Events beyond our control | We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. |
| Transfer | You may not transfer these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them to a successor to our business. |
| Whole agreement | These terms, with our Privacy Policy and any written agreement we sign with you, are the whole agreement about TorchTiger. |
| Severability | If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it is limited or removed only as far as necessary, and the rest stays in force. |
